I noticed in another post theat Lee mentioned something about taking care of A/C evaporator smell.
Would you be kind enough to pass on that information. I've noticed a bit of odor in the wife's 560SL, and a lot in my T-bird in which the ex-wife smoked. Your help will be most appreciated. Bob |

Bob,
It isn't a true cure, but sometimes it works as a "fix". Take a can of Lysol or any other antibacterial/antiseptic spray....then run the ventilation system....then spray the aerosol spray into the intakes for the ventilation system until the Lysol is well run though the system. This should help kill any stuff growing in the internals plus "freshen" up the smell. Do pick a spray whose odor you find acceptable. I would recommend something with very little (or even no) odor. This should help out the mildew ventilation system smells. Good Luck....Lee |

Where are the air intakes ('90 300E)?

The intakes should be under the front seats. Get in the backseat and look under the fronts for some air intakes down there.
Hope this helps...Lee |

Is this the location of the HVAC system's air intakes on just the 107 body style? Wondering now about my 126's intake location.. I had always *assumed* that they were at the base of the windshield..
