Lee,
The chrome on the above car is slightly pitted and it is also scratched. What would you recommend to improve it. TIA Regards Ed Maddock. |

Ed,
If there is already damage into the metal there really isn't a ton you can do to make it 100% new again. You can improve the appearance somewhat by using Flitz or Meguiar's Metal Polish. The Flitz seems to be a bit more effective on more neglected areas and the Meguiar's tends to do best on newer areas just needing shine. Give them a try and see how it works. You can also search the Detailing Forum's past posts for references to metal care. (search function top right of screen) Hope this helps...Lee |
