I waxed my car with Meguiar's Wax last weekend. I noticed that I accidentally got some of the wax on the rubber strips along the bottom of the car and I cannot wipe off the residue. What can I use to remove it?

egruber,
The toothbrush/soap technique works well in some situations. As does applying any other kind of product stripper. You can even try applying some Meguiar's #7 then removing with a terry. Or using the technique above, apply the #7, then remove with toothbrush.

For rubber conditioning I like either the Meguiar's rubber/vinyl dressing or Vinylex by Lexol.

Hope this helps..>Lee

Just a suggestion...
Always apply your black dressing [ stuff, whatever you want to call it... ] first. That way when the needy black absorbs, it will be black; thereafter, apply your wax and you will see the black no longer gets white!

The #7 is a polish that removes oxidation, bonded contaminents, etc. By using it first it "deep cleans" the trim so that it can be dressed with Meguiar's plastic polish or Vinylex. (or whatever your preference is) I've found that after a good application of a polish like Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #7 you do not need a dressing unless you like the permanent "wet" look.

Hope this helps...Lee
