Living in New England means freezing weather. How does the waterless wash products work? Do they remove wax? There are a few on the market, any suggestions on the best products?
Thanks

In my experience the only "waterless wash" products that seem to work at all are Slick Stuff by Wax Shop or Meguiar's Final Inspection/Quick Detailer. (same stuff)

Those are only effective on very lightly dusty areas. Any serious kind of dirt, grime, brake dust, etc is more than they are capable of cleaning. Most of the people I know who use waterless washes have cars with deep swirl marks. Though I'm sure the waterless washes can clean/absorb dirt well, I've yet to see one that is perfect enough to take off heavy grime without being a liability to the paint. As such, I would have to recommend against them. For winter cleaning is it possible to take your car to an covered/indoor washing facility. Not an automated car wash...those are not the friends of your car's finish. Just someplace with a watersource (coin-op.?) and a non-frozen work area. Just bring a bucket, your top quality wash/polish/wax, wash mitt, drying medium, applicator pads, and detailing rags.

Hope this helps...Lee
