What can I use to get rid of alot of hair-like sratches in my paint ? They are a little worse than swirl marks and I have alot of them on my rear doors. PLEASE HELP
Regular Mothers cleaner wax didn't help. But they didn't reach the metal so I am wondering if GS27 would work. Anybody use this product? |

I would skip the "snake oil" type products as a whole.
To remove light scratches or deep swirls I would try Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #9. If that does not do the trick you can go up the lineup on Meguiar's until you get to fine and/or medium cut compound. Once you find a product that takes it out go back down the line using the next less aggressive step. If you have to use medium cut, do the medium cut, then go back over it with fine cut, then go back over it with #9 swirl remover, then #7 polish, then #26 wax (or Gold Class liquid wax). Use of an orbital buffer will make the process much easier. To find out exactly what products you may need for your specific car's application you may want to click on the Meguiar's banner and get the Rx for your car. I hope this helps...Lee |

The GS27 works absolutely fine on fine abrasions.
