How do I get rid off the pseky brakedust on my alloys, whilst washing them?
It got worse ever since I use now MB Brakepads, there was no problem before with the Mintex ads. Help please I read once using vaseline but that is rather messy. |

Go to your local MB Dealer and get some MB Wheel Care. It is made by Meguiars and is the best stuff I have found. You just spray it on, let it soke for ~30 seconds, then use your wash cloth in auto shampoo and wipe them off.

Go with the Meguiar's or P21S wheel cleaners. They are the best you can get. If you have little "pit burns" of brake dust material into the paint there is little you can do short of refinishing the wheel. You might also try some detailing clay but be prepared to sacrifice the clay bar after one use.
Hope this helps...Lee |

As I seem to have read on a post in the past, Simple Green at full or a 2:1 solution works great! Using that recommendation for about a year now on the Chromed wheels and the finish doesn't seem to be suffering at all, and its non-toxic. Just my 2 cents.
