Hey guys,
Just a couple of quick question. After I wash and dry my car (sponge to wash, then 100% cotton terrycloth to dry) , I want to use Gold Class clear coat prep and swirl reducer, followed by the deep crystal system polish then Gold class clear coat liquid wax. (all Meguiars) 1. Do I need to rinse off my car between any of these steps, or do I just move straight from one product to the next? 2. I just bought my car around 3 weeks ago and already notice swirl marks, most probably from when I had it "professionally" waxed, Thats the last time I do that Is it too soon to be using the Clear coat prep and swirl reducer? Maybe I should just see if the polish helps? 3. I've been waxing my car around every 2 weeks,(good or bad?) I don't mind doing it, I actually even enjoy it, but is this too much? Will the polish work even though there is a recent coat of wax? Thanks in advance for your time and assistance, Sincerely, Z |

1) No. Just apply and remove each product one after the other.
2) Try the polish first. I wouldn't use the swirl reducer very often. 3) Wash as often as you like. Don't use too much "soap" or you will remove your wax. Also, gently wash your car...don't scrub hard. Polish removes wax. If you polish, you have to re-wax. ------------------ Bill Wood - Webmaster MercedesShop.com, LLC |
