Lee, short of replacing the interior door trim, is there any effective way you or anyone else knows of to reattach the lower part of the armrest and the lower part of the trim panel. The little plastic hooks have broken off on the bottom retainers. Ant thoughts or advice would be appreciated. BTW it's my 89 300e

This is probably a better question for Benzmac and the other techs in Tech Help. Though I've heard that the 3M adhesive spray used to attach hood pads and some of those clips you use to hold large amounts of paper combine to attach things that can be readily clamped. (black metal, chrome handles, vary in size from paperclip duty to near vise-grip) For your situation I would ask the techs.
