Ok, I know that orbital buffers make the job easier, but you can also swirl your paint very badly if you are inexperienced. How is the best way to do this forst? What stuff should I use to do it, and what type of orbital buffer?

Make sure you use a RANDOM orbital buffer - not the older type that can double as a sander for your precious paint.
