Hi! I've got a problem with one on the door sills. Not sure how to explain it, here's the pic.

I don't know the cause of it. It sorta appeared one day.

I can't really tell you, what caused the undulations, in the stripping. however since it only happened on one of the doors, just replace the stripping. It can't cost that much.

This is the exterior swipe moulding. It has come loose from the channel in the outer top edge of the window opening. See if it has separated from the backing strip. If not, it can usually be snapped back into place. If it has separated, it will have to be replaced. Not a big job, though.

Thanks for your replies. Could you guys tell me step by step as to how it can be fixed. Don't really intend spend any moeny on replacement for the time being. Thanks in advance.

You can try taking it off and reglueing it. I would just replace it, I mean how much can it cost?

Check Performance Products. I believe they sell this part for about $17.00. Get a catalog while you are there. They have a lot of the stuff that you pay thru the nose for from MBZ USA.

Submit a request to PartShop...you might be easily taken care of there, and they're quite reasonable
