I have an '84 300SD in 'Astral Silver' (code #735) but have been unable to find a good code number for the darker grey on bumpers and lower body cladding. The dealer told me it was code #58, but Tower Paint says that that is not a good number. Anyone know what the right number might be?

The exact paint for the lower panels is semi-gloss, it has a bit of shine on it. As for finding the good color I went to a paint specialist carying Sherwin williams and he goud out the code with a catalog that he had.
