I have a 92 SL with the mesh windscreen. Well it is very dusty and wiping it with a cloth only makes it worse. What is the proper way of cleaning this?? thanks.

My first instinct would be to remove it from the car and take a hose to it. You could also try the vacuum extension with the hand-held brush attachment.

My 1985 500sel with 220k with its big upright winshield had the same problem but it turned out to be lots of chips and age had made the winsheild bad you probley dont have the problem but if you have high milage you might.
