i got a problem on my 1990 300CE where the vinyl covering is lifting off the panels on the interior. Most noticable is the side panels in the rear where the material is lifting. Its not happening on the edges but on the curves of the panel. I think originally they didn't use enough glue or the material is shriking pulling the materail away from the panel. Is there a easy way to repair this? its not really noticable unless you push on it, and then you notice the its tought, but not touching the panel behind it.
Its hard to describe the problem. Hopefully someone understands what I mean. Also is the vinyl material used on the panels available in sheets? I have a small slit that makes the one panel a bit unsightly. Thanks for any advice in advance.... ------------------ 1990 300CE-24 1995 Jeep Wrangler 1995 Ford Thunderbird |

If you can get "under" it easily the common fix is 3M "hood pad" adhesive. You will need to keep some pressure on the are once you get the adhesive on it. I'll leave it up to you to figure the best way based on exactly where its coming loose.
Hope this helps...Lee |

I have replaced my 1991 door panels twice. The color is crewm beige. I have used a syringe with a 20 gauge 1.5 inch needle to inject then apply pressure. I appears to me that it is not a glue problem...but the material shrinks when heated.
