I used one tonight and it left such horrible swirls! What is with these? the bag says they are 100% cotton terry.

Did you do the "burn test"? The stitching on the edges could be synthetic. Check it out.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Hate to break it to you but Pep Boys sucks....don't trust their towels either. Just ask Benzmac how well he likes em....
Get the towels from Meguiars, a top quality domestic (Cannon for example), or make your own. 100% cotton terry cloth then stitch them with 100% cotton thread. The pep boys towlels obviously have synthetic stitching/threads in them. Sorry about your car's finish. Beware of those 100% cotton towels at pep boys and home depot type places.... Lee |
