Anyone know of a place that can chrome plate plactic body & trim parts. I heard it is called vacuuming plating. Thanks.

It's called vacuum metalizing. Not commercially done in California anymore, but I've heard of companies in Chicago and Georgia that do it. Very expensive (was around $1000 minimum to get the chamber charged) and the plating is only as durable as the thin lacquer topcoat.
