Since everyones been talking about these things, I was wondering if I could get a hold of the Euro version of the plastic peice surrounding the licence plate between the lights for W124s. To me the wider indentation for the plate looks sleeker. My 300E didn't come with a panel there at all. I believe the 91 or 92-93 cars had them. Tried dealer they only had the US version.
Follow this link for Pic http://www.statusimports.homestead.com/supersprintmbz.html Theres a pic of a silver 300E with the panel bottom right corner, with a sweet supersprint exhaust. Thanks! |

The difference between the euro and u.s. panel is that the euro panel is made to hold a european license plate, i.e. it has a wider opening to accommodate the euro plate.
I think the euro panel looks sleek, but I already purchased, painted, and installed a u.s. panel--not going to waste more money. I believe precision auto carries the euro panel. I just received their new catalog, and all their pictures of W124's have a euro panel. ------------------ Agron 1989 300E Monotoned Smoke Silver 97 Style Replica E420 Rims 205/55/16 Euro Headlights Clear Corners 20% Tint 12" Sub-enclosure |

I think the Euro version shown in the Link give the car a wider look at the rear somehow.

I tried Precision Auto Designs and they don't carry the euro version. You might try Carshine.com.au.
