I thought I would share this as it made quite a difference to my cars appearance.
Over the weekend I removed my rear light lenses (there are six 5.5mm bolts attaching the lights). I cleaned them inside and out, I was amazed with the difference it made, the back of the car looks a lot cleaner, I reccomend this to everyone with 'older' Mercedes. My car is a 1989 300se. It also makes the rear lights look a lot brighter!! Oliver |

well in my case I didnt have to clean mine as I replaced them with the 1994-1995 e320 tail lights which were brand new. what a difference though.
My bro cleaned the lights onhis range rover, and they look better than they did before. he did the same thing as you. took em out, and cleaned em inside and out.
