Hello. How are you? Well, I was wondering what will be better to use with 100% cotton terry towel? Should I use Flitz paste form or liquid form? Are they exactly the same? What would be easier to get Flitz out of terry towel when i try to wash the towel? Flitz won't ruin the towel, correct? Thank you so much for your help.

PS: I can't decide bet. Flitz's "Stainless & Chrome Cleaner" and Flitz's "Metal Polish Fiberglass&Paint Restorer." What do I need? I am mainly looking to clean the chrome Hood grill, door chrome?/alumnium? trim, and chrome exhaust tip. Please help me select the right product. Thank you.

I don't think any of these products will do any harm if they are used on surfaces that do not clean the best. I've only used the paste myself; why not try as many as you can find? you may like the ease of application of one vs. the other, and one may work better than the other on certain surfaces.

I will say that Flitz didn't do much for the shiny door trim around the window pillars of my 126 (anodized aluminum, probably clearcoated), but on real chrome its very good. You might like the paste better for small areas, and the liquid more for getting your terry cloth wet for a bigger area like a bumper or valve cover.

As for the towel itself, I would think that the Flitz itself would launder out. Of course, if your Flitz towel removed such substance like tar or diesel soot, these may not come out...

Hope this helps,

My brother has used the flitz that comes ina tube, and it works quite well by his account.

He has used it on the paint on his car and it did help with some things, even brought the luster back to some faded areas.

The metal looks a bit better with it too. Does a pretty decent job I think.

Hello guys. I am sorry I couldn't reply back earlier. Yeah, i guess it works pretty nicely on chromed areas. This stuff is nowhere to be seen in local areas=). When I get a chance to get some, I will post results. Thank you very much for your support. See you around :)
