I read on carcareonline.com that Meguiars can leave some cloudiness on German paints. Will that happen to my CLK55? Any input will be appreciated.

No Clouds
I've used many Meguiar's products on both my cars and have not noticed any cloudiness. But i guess there are so many variables concerning waxes, paints, environmental conditions, application techniques, etc, that there are some cases where this could happen.

german paint
only polymer or synethic waxes have been known to cloud german paint. The only exception is klasse since it's made in germany. Carnauba wax works best with german cars.

Ach!
I have been using McGuire's and Mother's (not my mother's, you know, but the brand) for many years now, and never have they caused a cloudy day for my paint. "Home, home in the driveway, where the Mother's and the Mcquire's wax play, where never is heard, a Turtle Wax word, and the paint is not cloudy today." Just stick with carnuba and you will be fine.
