I bought this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7961401603&category=46098&sspagename=WDVW
I was extremely happy with it. Installed the pad with 3M 8090 Super Trim Adhesive.

I see those pads are for the 2.3 engine but will work with the 2.6. I don't know the difference between the two but was wondering if you had the 2.3 or 2.6 engine? I have the 2.6 in my 190E and could use a new hood pad but wonder how the 2.3 pad would fit and look?

seems to me the hood pad would be cut to the hood size, not the engine size.

both of my 300's have newer hood pads...but they are both different....

they seem to keep the noise level down on the inside of the car.....

So what do you think the difference is between the 2.3 hood pad and the 2.6? There doesn't seem to be any relief for the air cleaner so do you think that it is thicker or more heat resistant? Larger engine more noise and heat??
I would like to replace my dried out pad on my 190E w/2.6 but don't want to find out I should have spent the extra cash for the correct pad.

Here is the one I put in the 90 300E from Ebay! If you email the fella on Ebay about which one you need I am sure he would help you out!
