You may be right about that, "ya don't have to be crazy to work here, but it helps..."

Cheers, and, oh yeah, oven cleaner??!! Where did that come from? Maybe on a bare steel or alloy wheel, but surely not on a painted wheel, unless you plan to re-paint it, too.

Think I'll try that Eagle A2Z stuff. Looks like it worked really well.

Dan, it looks like you repainted the wheels. That Eagle One A2Z Wheel Cleaner does a remarkable job. How much time and effort did you spend on each wheel?

Product that works

You just need to find the right chemical. I stumbled across it. The same chemical that is in the wheel cleaner you used is found in an extremely toxic and high concentrate in a bottle of "wink" rust remover. Little brown bottle. It works like magic just dribble it on and the baked on brake dust will literally disolve. I'm not sure if it's sold in all states. I had some hubcaps once and for the fun tried every chemical in the house. I couldn't believe what I stumbled on when I used the wink.

Wheel cleaner

"Awesome" cleaner degreases engines and brake dust also. Spray it on and wipe it off. Can be purchased at Dollar Tree stores. Let me know if you cant get it, I will ship it to you.
