Sheep skin seat covers stink
I have a set of genuine sheep skin seat covers on my seats in my 300D made by Sagaz (sp?) I've had them prfessionally cleaned and they were fine but then that old sheep stink came back. Is there anything that I can use to deoderize them so I don't have that old mutton stench? It's a PITA to take them off, take them to the cleaners and put them back.

That is what you get for being Organic....
While not much less overall effort... you can wash them in Woolite... and after completely drying them spray the skin part with Febreze.... |
That's why people in cattle country hate sheep. They stink!

Thanks |
for a temporary fix, cover with baking soda powder and then vaccum.... after like 10 mins

That Baking Soda deal sounds pretty good... put it all over as best you can with them in place... do it at night... cover with a garbage bag... then vacuum in the morning.... Use freshly opened box... all the same rules which apply to getting smells out of your refrigerator apply...
"That's why people in cattle country hate sheep. They stink!" True, but it sure is hard to beat the lanolin which they provide us for hand lotion.... particularly for people washing their hands with GOJO or such...really takes off the natural oils in our skin... I have been bleeding at the cuticles more times than I care to admit due to not treating my hands right.... |
Capture carpet cleaner...
similar to baking soda composition.... but has absorbers, cleaners, and a non-offending fragrance in it... brush it in, vaccuum it out. |
