You Just Broke My Heart

Captain Alex, I have an 89 year old Father, who in November past had three heart attacks. He lives alone and recovered well. After that, just before the Holidays he contracted a sore throat, a biopsey was made and now he has malignent cancer of the vocal cords. You guessed it a life long smoker. They will try x-ray therapy, if that fails surgury follows. I'm 65 years of age and I suffer from cronic pain. I have a subcatanious morphyine pump dispencing the juice into my spine continiously. Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston.

Donald

Donald, how did I break your heart? Well I wish your father well and I think that all of us on this forum will pray for him. I hope you get better as well, and an get out on the water. Yes a sailboat is lots of work to keep moving however a power boat : all it needs is gas. Once again I would like to send the best to you and your family and hope the very best for you father.

Don't Missread

Captain Alex what I meant was I would drive up there at the drop of a hat. The joy of driving then adding the boat afterwards would be a star in my crown. Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston.

What happened to Car Duster subject?

I wish the best to both of you, but shouldn't these postings that are not related to the subject at hand be sent directly to your respective e-mail addresses?

Happy New Year
Joe

Your Right

Zonajoe, anytime you want you can make correcting remarks toward CaptAlex300E or myself our E-Mail address is open. Until that time just jog on by when two members are carrying on friendly jargen. Now was there something you wanted to say about Car Dust Mops, for I didn't read anything pertaining to the subject. Do you like or dislike them? I've used them probably for more years than you were aware of them. Oh well so much for my opinion of varied subjects at this Thread. Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston.

Donald.
Capt Alex, how's the weather?
The reports aren't very pretty.
It got cold last night, 29 degrees.
Above zero ofcourse.
When is the 500 coming?

I'm going to order a car duster from ************************
We got a about 13 inches of snow in my neck of the woods. Today the Benz sat, and the Chevy Blazer roared right through the snow mounds. Early in the morning I just plowed right through the snow, and it was very, very fun. In this weather 4 By 4 Rules. !!! Oh and Zonajoe, I just got off tangent a little bit, and am sorry. We often do this on these forums as I see that your pretty new and a Junior Member. I really don't need the wishes of Best of Luck however Donald and his family could. On this forum we are all friends and would help each other out as best as possible. We'll even try to meet up, (as me starting the N.Y chapter of Mercedesshop).

Captain Swini
Thanks for clearing up that matter for me. I quess when I someday become a senior member like yourselves I will have learned the proper way to handle myself on this fine forum.
I didn't realize that this was the area for small talk but I guess that comes with being only a junior member. Its comforting to know that there are senior members out there that are willing to point the junior members in the right direction, I can't thank you enough. I hope someday to be as experienced as CaptSwini so that I might be as helpful to some Junior member looking for information on the Posted Subject.
Until then Beep Beep to you both.

No need for name calling. Also I think that you should show some respect towards a fine man (Donald and his family). Sometimes these posts do get a little off tangent and that must be understood. Their is nothing wrong with that. The car duster works great, I used a friend of mines before I got 13 inches of snow on my car, and it did a wonderful job. The only thing I'm not sure about and hope that Donald or Ashman do know is if it scratches paint at all. When the mop picked a few larger pieces off my finish on Friday I felt as if it might scratch the paint.

TiT for Tat

The Users name is, Donald and CapAlex3ooE, not CaptSwini. CaptAlex300E, I believe anything abrasive between a D/M, Chamios or anything will scratch the surface. Just be careful. I,ve never scratched my 300E's finish yet. Consider the age of the one I brought back from Seol. Shack it good and get with the mopping, just stay off of anything wet. The one you are ordering is the same being sold at Wal Mart, Check it out. You handled the new member like the pro you are. Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston.

Donald.
Just mopping along.

Will the mop pick up any contaniments before they can scratch the surface. ? Since it has paraffin wax in it, the mop should be able to do so.

Ok, I'll look foward to not needing to wash my car twice a week. Once I get my second Benz it will save me lots of time. Have a Happy and prosperous new year: Donald, Zonajoe, and all of you on the forum.

Don't push Too Hard

Capt Alex300E, anything that you dust or wipe your painted surface with will scratch if you apply too much pressure. The Mop is just for light dusting, you know in between washing, mine came with a small one for the inside; the mop won't replace a wash mit. Happy Trails Beep Beep from burr it's 25 degrees to night Houston.
