On my wife's car (1992 190E 2.3) there are panels / cladding on the lower portion of the doors that are painted ALMOST the same color as the car (a deep navy blue color). These are beginning to fade into a lighter color and I want to know how to maintain these.
Do you wax them with the same stuff you use on the paint or because they are painted with a "flex additive" should you use something different? Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions.

I treat them the same as the rest of the paint on my car and have had no problems.

They are painted much similar to your normal paint, you can wax them just like your car. If they are really badly faded, you can have a body shop repaint them and they look brand new again.
