1~2 months waiting time before wax after painting: for liquid rustproof too?

Does the waiting time apply to rustproof material that does not harden?

My guess is that if the rustproof material remains as liquid (for example, Fluid Film), the solvents in the still curing paint might enter the rustproof material and then experience Brownian motion, and then finally go out to the outside air.
