'Noticed thread on one of the lists few weeks ago reommending Turtle Wax Emeral Series. 'Started using it couple of weeks ago on my 81 300D (ivory MB#623); very well impressed; easy to apply; white residue nil; looks fantastic; haven't noticed any water spots on it. 'Started using it on my black 91 350SDL yesterday. Horizontal surfaces on the newly-waxed black car have TERRIBLE water spots from last night's rain; worked on it some more today & having difficulty removing the water spots! Any tips?
Suggestion for something that is as easy to apply, leaves no white residue; has long life and does not spot from rain so easily? I CAN NOT DRY IT OFF AFTER EVERY RAIN! BTW, IMO (possibly biased), the classic appearance of a clean, well-waxed, black 126 is hard to beat. TIA |

I have an obsidian black CLK and have had very good results with One Grand Blitz wax. Easy on and off, little residue, great durability. One Grand has a website, but I got mine at http://www.carcareonline.com.
