Trying to revive my 82 300sd

My car has the stock 14" rims on it, the paint is nice but faded, it is light blueish but looks silver lol, i am thinking of painting it blue, what is a nice blue? i also want to put a little bit larger rims on it, maybe 18"? will that mess up the tranny? i also want to put tints on it but not too dark of course. By the way does anyone know how to fix a leaking window without replacing it?

How do we know what color blue is nice? Pretty subjective question. Also, going from 14" wheels to 18" wheels is a huge difference, the car would look really weird I think. Though im happy to say i've never seen it done. I doubt the car would ride or handle very nicely either with that wheel size on there.

For Wheel size,

The largest I would personally reccommend is 17" this size looks great without making the ride too firm for your likings. Handling will be improved too of course! I bet 16" would look very good on your car though, tires would be a bit cheaper too.

Fix the window before you tint, be sure to find out what tint percentages are legal in your state, you don't want to have to get it all removed once you get it applied. But, what or where is the window leaking from first of all?

Try to post some pictures of your car.

The rear window leaks on top, my headliner has become loose due to it. I don't have the money for a new window so i don't know if i can just do something with it, my dad wants to just throw some epoxy and stuff on it but i feel it might ruin the resale value of the mercedes. Is there other mercedes rims that fit the 300sd that don't look so old fashion?
