Parking garage blues

I recently started paying a bundle to have my car parked in a garage in NYC -- trying to take extra care of a '79 450sl. Unfortunately they parked it right under a leaky rusty pipe. Now I have little spots on my trunk that will not come of after having the car hand washed. Any suggestions please.

Get another parking space 1st;
You can try a little paint thinner rub lightly just until the rust comes off....it will
I f that doesn't work get a refund for your parking fees....

I used to live in SOHO the rent was like 268/ month
someone wanted to rent me an outdooor space 10 blocks away for $300/ month...

Try some fine hand polish. If that doesn't work use a ROB with a more aggressive machine polish.

Take it to a good detailer

I had the same problem. They managed to get the crud off by compounding it.

Good reason to keep a good coat of wax on the car at all times...
