had Bundt rims revived!! 56K warning

i just wanted to get opinions on these wheels, i sent them to a shop a friend of my brother owns, he bead blasted and powder coated them, all i had to do was spend $80.00 to fill their refrigerator. any way what do you all think, is the shade correct etc? i personally feel they are pretty darn close

A 230TE?

Is that a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine?

Was this engine ever used in the U.S.?

it is the same basic engine that is used in the 190E 2.3 models, 201 chassis. it was never used in the US in the 123 chassis.

Nice 'nuf to hang on the neck with a matching chain-hip hop style.

Nice!

I've been trying to decide what to do with mine. I considered stripping and polishing the wheel, which is a ton of work; however, after seeing these maybe that's the way to go. What color did he use?

Do a search in the wheels section. I am sure this discussion about actual color name has been done.

Ray:

Looks like you got a screamin' deal on the wheel resto. They look terrific. Was the 230TE one of the original MB roadside assistance cars? Color scheme looks familiar.

230/8
