Caring for MB's Cloth seats
 

I just recently purchased a 2000 C230K and it came with the rare MB cloth type interior.

Im planning on sending it to get it dry cleaned and detailed and possibly scotchguarded. Is this a good idea? This material is quite different than the american cloth...seems more heavy duty and close to a canvas type material.

I just vacuum mine and keep the food out of the car. Other then that they seem to stay pretty clean. Only my drivers side seat is showing wear after 251k miles. I will probably get it redone in the next couple of years.

How do you even clean cloth other then a vacuum?? I have no idea? :confused:

I just had it shampooed and scotchguarded.
