How do they go on? With the dreaded double-sided tape? Has that stuff ever fallen off? I'm worried about that, especially with the TX heat. Also, are they pretty thick-gauge metal, or just cheapo quality? Would you recommend? How much did you pay?

I have the shifter surround on a 190E. It clips into the shifter cavity. It is plastic but I doubt it will get too messed up if I leave it alone.

The 124 version gets taped (3m double-sided tape) onto the current surround.
