My 1987 300 E has a dried tree sap stain on the car that does not come out with multiple washes any idea what safe method is there to remove this. Thank you.

You can try " Bug & Tar " remover, available anywhere, or good old WD 40.

Be very careful w/ Kerosene. It can easily wreck your paint finish. I have seen this addressed in depth on the detailer's forum: http://autopia.org/forum/index.php?

"Awesome" from Dollar Tree stores. Multiple appplications of spraying and wiping will literally melt tree sap off. Wipe off immediately!! It really works!!
