Under the Hood
 

Hello, Thank you all for the great helps and information posted. I am looking for two items to finish off my under the hood detailing.
Where can I find the Yellow decal/sticker that is found at the front edge of the top part of the 1986 560SL Air cleaner. and I also need the small hood pad that is closest to the windshield under the hood.

The hood pad is available at any dealer be sure to also get the glue at the dealer. I suggest you remove the hood and clean up good to do the job. The sticker is also probably available at the dealer but they will probably deny it because they just dont want to bother with such trivial parts.

Your local MB dealer's Parts Department can get any factory stickers. It's a matter of the rep being savvy enough to find them in the computer system. I've had some reps tell me a part is unavailable simply because they're unable to locate it in the system which is not very user-friendly from what I've observed at the Parts counter.
