Talking Headlight Doors W123

my headlight doors are missing the clear plastic that goes over the grey plastic fins.. so im thinking about just painting the fins since A) i cant afford new doors now B) i think the idea of the doors clear plastic bezel on top of the plastic fins is stupid..

im going to paint them black to match my new grill and maybe go over the edges of the fins with a silver sharpie to give it the look of chrome..

ill post pics when im done

I don't know if I like it that much. It looks too much like an old BMW, which I do like, but MBs should look like MBs and BMWs should look like BMWs. Get Euros when you've got enough saved up, it'll look much better.

I've seen 123's for sale that have the headlight doors painted the same color of the body. I think they look funny. I like them just the way they are, but each to their own.

A black car in Florida? Heh.. you better have a great A/C system in there. (Even if you do tint the windows)
