My kid wrote on the seat of my 82 300D with pen. What to use to get it off?

Black ball point pen ink. A couple of small lines (thankfully). I've tried warm soapy water and a rag to no avail. I have Goof Off and 3M's Adhesive remover, but am apprehensive to use something so strong.
Thanks for any input.

you need something damp, soft and slightly ablative. maybe try some of that magic eraser. Or perhaps, your kid's tongue.........only kidding, although the latter is what I would tell MY kid.

I used my kid's head, but her hair is too fine and non-abrasive. j/k
I have one of those Magic Erasers. Good idea, I'll give it a shot.

Goop Off

Maybe try some of that citrus based goop off. I think it is good for ink. If itwas one of those roller ball pens it may be water based and come off with some ammonia.

Don't use Goof off. It is likely to strip the dye from the leather.

For that matter, don't use nail polish remover, either.

Try using WD-40.

Hair spray!
Test it on a hidden spot, but hair spray takes ink off right now!

stockdad, try some leather cleaner and conditioner. Avoid anything too abrasive or potent ... may remove the ink, but leave a tell-tale spot.

Try rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.

303 Aerospace Protectant!

Yet ANOTHER use I have found for this incredible product is removing ink marks on MB-Tex!

There have been occasions when I have gotten into my car forgetting that I have a pen in my pocket, sticking ball point end out. Inevitably I have ended up making marks on my seats before realizing that theres a pen in my pocket!

303 did the trick, sprayed some on a microfiber cloth, and rubbed with some pressure, and sure enough it lifted up the markings....

I think one of my favorite aspects to this product is that it cleans in addition to protecting.. its not just a coating of protectant!

Give it a try, and if it doesnt work for some reason youll have a bottle full of stuff perfect for cleaning and shining your cars rubber, plastic, and MB-Tex!

WD-40 didn't do a thing.

It's Mercedes brand of vinyl, instead of leather.
