Here is my 1982 300TD (rock the wagons, first two posts, yeah!).

It is the Astral Silver color, with blue interior. This picture is a little old, but I'm proud of the car today, because I just detailed the interior, and its feeling really nice.

Warning if you are looking... Astral Silver looks great, but its clearcoat peels REALLY easily. If the car hasn't been garaged (or won't be in the future), the clearcoat will being to peel on the roof and hood, like mine. But on the sides, it looks great.

The 35% tint looks great on these cars too, especially ones with a more 'modern' color, like white, black, or silver. It might look a little odd on the yellow ones, since it wouldn't be very 'period'.

I've also got wheels from a 99 CLK. They are 16 inches with a 37mm offset. They BARELY fit. The tierods are about a mm from the inside of the rim. They work great, but I don't think you could fit anything with more offset on. These wheels come up on ebay pretty regularly, and I think they are quite classy on this car, the silver paint on the wheels is almost a dead match for the Astral Silver.

Good luck on your search. I hope you find what you are looking for.

peace,
sam

I believe each of these cars are the final production year for that model.

SWEET!!!!!!! Give it to me! It would complement my Blue 1995 E300D very well. Are you in the giving spirit?
