Underchassis cleaning
How do you gentlemen clean your car's underchassis? Back in the Philippines their car wash stations have lifts but usually workers clean them for you (at a low price). But I haven't seen such car wash places here.
It is understandable that in Cali it doesn't rain that much anyway so it's not needed, but of course it's also good to find one and drop by after a rain, that way the underside of our cars will be kept cleaner than usual. |
I powerwashed the under belly after this winter, but usually I just spray it down well with the hose when ever I wash her.

there is a detailing place my be that will steam wash your undercarriage for $40. Went to the place numerous times with amazing results. under looks as clean as a whistle just from steaming and no polish or chemicals were added to enhance the beauty, just pure hot steam and soap. I take my landcruiser there every spring to have all the road salt and dirt washed off from underneath.

Power wash and then black spray paint.

Simple Green, a stiff brush, and lots of work.:D
I don't go nuts with the underside because a little dust won't hurt anything and you can't see it. The wheel wells and suspension you can, you could eat off my LCA's. |
