Odor removal with ionic breeze?
it was suggested that i use my fullsize home model ionic breeze to remove odors from my 1985 300D's interior, it has been in there on high with the windows up for 24 hours, it seems to smell alot better, i will leave it in ther for a few days, has anyone else heard of or has done this? what were your results?

I have read from numerous sources that those units are a great idea with poor execution. The basic concept is solid but they need a fan to move the air through it to really be effective in a room.

Temporary yes - permanent no. You need an ion generator that can produce in excess of 2800 mg/hr of ions to do the job completely.

The Sharper Image units do kick out a bit of ozone and it seems to be enough to reduce some in-car odors. Furthermore, if you already have a unit in your house, it doesn't cost anything to try it. |
