Anyone heard that putting a cap full of vinegar in your car wash solution has positive effects on results?

Clean Windows

I clean my windows in the car & house with vinegar/water and newspaper. Also I drink apple cider vinegar with Welches Grape Juice daily, (good for cleaning out the old system), Do a search on the web there are a lot of home remedies for vinegar.

The vinegar should help dissolve calcium carbonate (limestone) deposits on the paint.

You might want the extra vinegar for the Shark-fins soup now serving at your local Chinese Restuarant.

I've never tried the vinegar mod. My guess is that a capful of vinegar into a gallon of solution would do little but dilute the PH. IMO good wiper blades would make more of a difference. Whatever you do, don't try the vinegar that comes with the Shark's fin soup! Unless of course you have Shark's fin soup in your wiper fluid
