I live outside the city limits so all my water comes from my well. The well water evidently is hard and tends to leave spots on the paint so I resort to having someone else wash my vehicles. Does any one have any suggestions on how to eliminate this problem? I have tried to locate a filtering device to attach to my garden hose , but no luck so far. I am tired of having other people do shoddy wash jobs. Thanks, Johnny

I would have tried the local hardware/DIY shop for some water softeners, or the nearest fish farm. Bound to have them in in 5kg. bags.
