I have a 2000 ML320 and the hood has some "streaking stains" from salt grime from the roads. This is after washing this past Sunday. Could someone recommend a cleaner that would remove this? I have tried meguiars quick detailer and swirl remover but the stain still remains. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Dave

I think you want to look for some stronger products.

Starting with basics, KIT has a "scratch remover" which is basically a hard compound polish. Use this to compund polish the streaken areas, and when successful - you would need to buff it with a layer of (any) wax. This is to protect the "polished" spot.

This should work.

If it doesn't let me know the extent to which the area of the car is affected, and what sort of results did you get after using the above recommendations.
