Bumper paint
 

I have an 87 420sel with the grey lower cladding and bumers. The bumpers have a few nicks that I want to retouch. What is the color code or name of teh paint for the lower parts of the car.

I was also thinking of painting the bumpers and lower cladding ivory which is the color of my car to have the 89-91 look. Any info is apppreciated. Thanks

If you want the proper paint for your lower cladding, go to the paintscratch.com website, key in your make model and year, and it will show the proper color and code. You can order touch up paint, or spray cans. Excellent products.

If you decide to paint the lower portions of your car to match the top, it will give it a much more modern, "mono" look. I did that to my 190. Removed all the cladding and painted it top body color. Also removed the bumpers because there was lower color around there also. Hope this helps!
