My 380SE (silver) was keyed along the passenger side recently while parked at a mall. Made me sick. Anyway, I'd just as soon not get the fenders and doors repainted, and I was wondering whether anybody has a magic potion that would fill in the scratch and mask the damage. I've been trying to fill it in with Meguiar's Gold. It helps a little, but when dry, it turns white and highlights the scratches. Ideas, anybody? Thanks.

Try LANGKA
I had the same problem on my 97 E320. I tried this product called LANGKA paint blob remover. It worked really well.
You should give it a try before taking the car to the body shop. Go to http://www.langka.com |

I suck at bodywork, I tried it before and wasnt sucessful in painting.
So I took the 84 300D (which was keyed to the metal), to the bodyshop. It looks good now. Try alternatives, at worst, your looking at having the panel repainted. |
