Polishing glaze question
What is Polising Glaze? I heard that adding Glaze to your paint fininsh would make the paint loook much better aside from wax alone.
Do you put glaze first then wax or glaze on top of wax or glaze alone and leave wax out? I have the meguiars Polishing glaze number 7 i think? I could be wrong

The glaze is a polish. What you do is put the glaze on after washing, claying and drying the car. The glaze is what contains the oils that make the paint slicker and wet looking. The wax goes on top of the glaze to protect it.
A lot waxes now contain glaze like properties but still nothing beats layering down a layer of pure glaze polish. Glaze by itself does not have the strength to withstand enviromental abuse so you need the wax on top of it to help protect it. |
