Eliot, I asked around. I do my own detailing. You could call Peter at Silver Star in Vienna and ask him. He's a great guy to deal with for repairs. I'm sure he could recommend some good detailers.

Not yet, I'll post up as soon as I have it done. The vehicle in question is my brothers and it still need a right front fender and a new hood (all of which are on some mysterious and quite slow freighter). The parts are freebies from the guy who nearly took his hand off in a shop accident. When they arrive and get them fitted then its a trip to the detailer... the car needs it pretty badly. Especially some interior attention.

There is a Meguiars rep who lives in Boyds, MD ( has had some seminars at his beautiful home ) I think he has posted on this forum. If you do a search you may be able to find him and get a recommendation.
I mention him because at one of his seminars that I went to at his home, some of the detailer that attended were excellent. I mean really GOOD.
I do all my detailing myself with Zaino, but if I were to hand my car over to someone else I would attempt to contact him for a name.

Ethan, how'd you find out about that? I'd like to go to one of those seminars. Are you on some sort of a mailing list for that or something?

The instructor was a very talented detailer, his black paint on his SUV was the best I've ever seen and when the instructor wet sanded a rental car hood it was remarkable.
