Wood Steering Wheel Scratch

Hey guys,

Any ideas on the best course of action to buff out a scratch on my wood steering wheel - it about makes me sick

I don't know how, but my wedding band must have caught it yesterday. I'm thinking about wet sanding it to smooth it out, and then polish it out. Any advice.

It's on my ML-55.

Thanks,
Shaun

Sounds like you have the right idea Shaun. I would start with a very fine sandpaper like an 800 and work up to a 3000 for final polishing. I perfer to use fine papers in these situations and spend a bit more time.

Thanks! Would you wet sand it? Any recommendations for a polish?

Shaun
