Trying Meguiar's 21
I thought I would try this sealant to see how it compares to its Gold Class wax. Because it comes in a 64oz jug it’s a bit awkward to use right off the bat, and the funky purple color of the product is different. And not that it matters in how the stuff performs, but 21 doesn’t have that nice aroma Gold Glass does. After using swirl polish to first clean the finish, I applied the 21 with a foam pad. Maybe I’m used to paste type waxes but after a while it looked like the foam pad was soaked with water. Even after shaking the jug I could squeeze the pad and get clear fluid out. Is this normal? Is 21 water based?

I don't know if it's water, but it some kind of low-viscosity liquid. It's pretty normal, I get that everytime I use #21 and I've read that other people get it too. Just make sure you shake up the main jug well, so you get it all emulsified and ready to apply.
