Question Engine plastic paint

I would like to repaint the raised lettering on the spark plug wire cover of my M104 engine. The original was either white or a very light silver, and it is flaking off. If possible, I would like to prime it and paint it in hopes of a more permananent finish.

I'll appreciate any advice anyone may have.

Bob D.

adhesion promoter

go visit you local auto body supply house and he will sell you a quart of adhesion promoter. it makes paint STICK to surfaces that are difficult to paint. of course the surface must be CLEAN and free of oil and grease first. . .
good luck.

perhaps some Krylon Fusion paint ? Fusion is designed to bond with plastic..I used it on my grille in both my w201 and w126.
