Silver wheel touch-up paint substitute...

Hello all,

I recently bought a set of wheels from a 2002 C240 to use on one of my cars. They were nice except for a bit of curb rash on two of them. I figured I'd go to the parts store and get some generic silver just to make them look decent.

The color I picked out was Subaru Quicksilver ( Duplicolor SU 01345). After dabbing some on, not only was it a good match, it was dead on. Don't believe me? Go spend the $3.50 at Autozone and see for yourself. If it doesn't match your silver painted wheels, give it to your daughter as nail polish and feel free to yell at me. However, I think you'll like the results......

Klaus
