Start with a detergent like Simple Green and work it with a tooth brush. It's a bit time consuming but I have found tooth brush's work the best (small bristle size).

Ok, I will give that a try.

Simple green is a good start. I like to use Mr. Cleans magic eraser and Krazy Clean. No scrubbing required, wipe on and off followed by a fresh water sponge.

Have you had a problem with the fabric separating from the backing?
I've noticed that a lot of cars have a thin layer of foam rubber-like material behind the fabric. With age and probably heat this foam and adhesive gets brittle and just falls apart. Can't recall if MB's have this or not. |
